The advantages of getting started with a personal trainer include learning how to use the equipment properly, getting a personalized fitness regime, having a personal motivator and getting results.
Don’t miss workouts. Remember that the shortest and easiest workout you do is 100% better than the workout you missed. Stay consistent when you travel. Remember, it’s about getting results and your results will last longer when you make it a point to get your workouts in.
Establish written goals. Set outcome goals (results you want to achieve) and process goals (how frequently you want to work out, types of food you want to eat, etc.). When you have documented goals you are far more likely to achieve success.

If socializing is not your “thing”, then know that our environment is equally inviting to those who prefer some quiet time. The bottom line is I want you to feel at home each time you visit the club.
Read my book, Living Lean. This book has helped thousands of people to learn how to lose weight and, more importantly, keep the weight off. Most of the success stories found in the book did not happen at a LNF club; rather they occurred because people followed the eating plan outlined in the book.
Eliminate the idea of No Pain, No Gain and replace it with, No Pain is Gain. Exercising should be enjoyable and rewarding, not painful. Every time you visit the club to workout, remember that the goal is to be physically active and enjoy the experience. When this occurs, the results follow.
Variety is Important. At some point in your exercise program you will reach a plateau, get stale and lose enthusiasm. It happens to everyone. To avoid these hurdles to success, change you’re routine on a regular basis. Try new equipment, take a new exercise class or ask a trainer to modify your program. Variety is the spice of life and also of exercise.
